Note Nov 25, 2024:
The downloading function on the micro-credential platform is currently under maintenance. If you need to share your awards, you can either
(1) follow the email badge guide in this article, or
(2) share them via the Badging solution if your award was earned before Oct 28, 2024 (follow the guide in this section).
We will update this article when the function is back on the micro-credential platform. Thank you for your patience!

Once you are awarded a micro-credential, you will be prompted to return to the platform to view your digital badge.
If you want to access all your micro-credential awards, login, and you can find all your awarded micro-credentials in your "Dashboard" - "Award" tab.
Your awarded micro-credentials can be shared in several ways:
1. Download Badge
When this button is pressed, your badge will be downloaded as a .png that has all the relevant metadata that confirms that you alone earned the micro-credential.
The badge image can be verified through this link: https://badgecheck.io/. Anyone who uploads this image can see the verified results here.
2. Email Badge
This functionality allows you to share your award with colleagues via email. If neither of the below checkboxes is selected, you will simply share your award, including the micro-credential name, details, your name, and the date the award was earned.
- Submission Evidence Checkbox: If selected, you will share all evidence included in your micro-credential application with the recipient.
- Assessor Feedback checkbox: If selected, you will share any assessor feedback and related submissions/resubmissions in your application with the recipient.
- Notes: any links to micro-credential awards shared via the “Email Badge” option will automatically expire after 24 hours. This system is designed to ensure that links to evidence and/or feedback are not lost or misused by the recipient. If the recipient is unable to view the micro-credential award within the 24-hour time frame, the award can be re-shared at any time.
3. Open Badge
With the open badge link, you will be redirected to your backpack (on Badgr) where you can download your open badge in multiple formats and verify your badge for authenticity.
