What if my iPad battery will not hold a charge?

Step 1: First, check that:

  • The display brightness is turned up.

  • All used apps/browsers are closed.

  • Cellular access to unused apps has been turned off.

  • The correct charger is being used. Do not use under-powered chargers or computer USB ports to charge.

 

Step 2: If you are still having trouble after trying the steps above, reset the iPad to factory settings and restart.

If the issue persists:

  • For devices under warranty, contact Apple.

For devices not under warranty, submit a claim with AGI.
